The CoachTim is an accountant by day and coach by night. He has had the privilege to work directly with some of Project Echelon's veterans as an endurance coach and mentor. He has seen first hand how physical activity can be a form of therapy and believes wholeheartedly in the Project Echelon mission to empower veterans and their families through physical activity and self discovery.

The AthleteGrowing up Tim was involved in ball sports; football, basketball, and golf. It wasn’t until university that he found cycling and started a collegiate team that participated in the North Central Conference where he was the overall champion in 2013.
Since then, Tim has continued his progression up the ranks signing for Project Echelon in 2017. He had a good year in 2018 finishing up the season in Vermont at the Green Mountain Stage Race where after a good ride on stage two he landed himself in both the sprinters and climbers jerseys. |
The ManTim comes from a very athletic family. He is the son of a cross country coach and collegiate quarterback, not to mention a brother to a collegiate runner and two time national champion in the discipline of cycling.
He currently resides in North Carolina with girlfriend and fellow professional rider Emma Lujan. Tim and Emma will be joining the rest of Project Echelon riders in Tucson, AZ at the first of the year to begin training for 2019. His family also has a history in military service. Tim’s Uncle a Major General recently retired from the U.S Army where his grandfather also served. |
